sun bed

performance and installation using methods of worldbuilding & phantasmal media

sun bed is a performance exploring a parallel world born from a subtle planetary shift: a version of Earth tilted just enough to allow sunlight for only 99 hours each year. In this alternate reality, societies have evolved around those fleeting hours of light, developing heliocentric rituals, mythologies, and sonic traditions to honor the sun’s brief return.

Through custom-made musical scales and worldbuilding techniques inspired by game design, sun bed invites navigation through a world marked by absence and desire.
